4 Best Link Building Marketplaces [2025 Review]

Link Building Platform
Links from Real Businesses!

A link-building marketplace is an online platform where you can acquire backlinks.

It doesn't sell them directly, though.

It acts as an intermediary between businesses that want to improve their SEO performance and publishers or bloggers who offer guest post, niche edit, or sponsored placement opportunities.

Link-building marketplaces are growing in popularity. The reason? You can secure suitable links quickly and possibly for less than if you worked with a link-building agency or built them in-house.

In the article, I will show you four well-known marketplaces where you can find high-quality backlinks for your site. I'll also explain how to choose the right one for your business, explain what risks it comes with, and show you an alternative.

INSERT.LINK is a new kid in the link-building marketplace space.

New doesn't mean small or poor quality.

INSERT.LINK boasts a database of 50M+ pages across all niches, so you can easily find relevant and traffic-rich websites for your project whether you're an agency, an in-house team, or a freelancer.

The platform was built by Admix Global to complement our other link-building services. We understand that not all agencies or businesses have the resources to pay for premium backlinks.

For example, spending $1750 on backlinks isn’t a viable option for a small local business. $150-500 is much more realistic.

With a turnaround time of 3-7 days, it offers quicker results than traditional link-building services. At Editorial.link, for instance, we may need up to a month to get a quality link.

Insert.link

INSERT.LINK works like a search engine for links.

You plug in your keyword, and it returns a list of pages in the niche.

The results are ordered by Score, which is based on the page relevance. You also get:

  • Content extracts that contain your keyword and website
  • Page and website SEO metrics powered by Ahrefs (DR, Referring Domains, Keywords, Traffic, Top country, and Language
  • Prices, starting from as little as $10 and reaching $1000s

As you'd expect, the platform provides multiple filters to easily pre-qualify the pages based on your requirements.

For example, you can specify the minimum DR, page traffic, or keywords it ranks for and include or exclude niches.

In addition to link insertions, you can purchase guest posts, and the team is working on the Collective Post feature. This will allow several clients to share a cost of an article linking to their pages, such as a listicle.

Finally, INSERT.LINK has an affiliate program.

Simply put, if you refer a future client, you get a commission from every purchase they make. This works well for SEO and marketing agencies that don't do link-building but would still like to offer comprehensive SEO services. Or those that don’t have the capacity to deliver as many links. It's a standard feature across all the marketplaces in this article.

How Insert.link works

As mentioned, INSERT.LINK is a new platform, and so there aren’t any reviews on either official review websites or forums. And I can understand why users may be initially apprehensive to try it.

But fear not. We’re going to great lengths to ensure only legitimate businesses offer link placements on their websites. And these aren’t just any websites, but quality ones with solid metrics.

Sure, there are things that can be improved, so if you have any feedback, do get in touch with the team, and we’ll make to act on it.

2. Bazoom

Bazoom is an established link-building marketplace catering to SEO consultants, agencies, and direct clients.

As a client, you can access its vast page database, which includes 80k media outlets across various niches.

You can integrate with your SEO tool and personalize your profile with information like your competitors.

Bazoom

Thanks to this, you get more comprehensive and domain-specific insights about each page. For example, if your competitors have links from a website you're considering.

Bazoom's search engine comes with the usual filters, like country, organic traffic, or price.

This looks robust, but the search engine has one major downside. It looks for your keywords in the domain name, not the page content.

So, a search for "backlink strategy" returns no matches.

This makes finding specific placements much harder than with Insert Link.

In addition to links, Bazoom offers content writing and backlink strategy services, which could make it an attractive offering for inexperienced webmasters or those with limited in-house resources.

Bazoom reviews

Bazoom reviews are mixed and often contradictory, depending on the platform.

For example, it gets 4.9/5.0 on G2 (based on 16 reviews) and Google (129 reviews) but only 3.6 on Trustpilot (based on 20 reviews).

Clients praise it for:

  • User-friendly interface
  • Wide selection of websites in various niches, including challenging ones like crypto or iGaming
  • Responsive customer support (although there are occasional grumbles about it)
  • Fast publication process (Bazoom claims most links are published within 8 days)

Client complaints concern:

  • Content quality issues (Sometimes the content linked from seems AI-generated or of poor quality)
  • Pricing (Clients mention Bazoom's markup could double the link price, making it less cost-effective than other ways to secure links).

3. WhitePress

WhitePress was founded in 2013, and it’s popular link-building and content marketing platform in central and eastern Europe.

It provides brands and marketing or SEO agencies with tools to create and distribute content across 90k websites in 30+ languages.

As an advertiser, you can order:

  • Content creation
  • Outreach campaigns
  • Digital PR campaigns
  • Link insertions/banners

There’s also a Backlink manager feature that allows you to stay on top of all the links you’ve acquired.

Once you create a project and choose the service, the service automatically chooses websites that are a match for your domain.

You can filter the results using multiple Basic and Advanced filters, including:

  • Domain or website name
  • Theme (e.g. Marketing, Advertising, Media)
  • Type of portal (e.g. Thematic portal, Blog, etc.)
  • Price
  • Type of link (Text body, sitewide, etc)
  • Portal quality (High, lower, unverified)
  • Page and domain rating (Ahrefs)
  • Domain authority (Moz)
  • Authority Score (Semrush)
  • Traffic (Ahrefs, Semrush)
  • Inbound/outbound link ratio

This is the most comprehensive set of filters I’ve seen across different marketplaces.

The results page includes metrics like:

  • Unique users
  • Ahrefs and Semrush traffic
  • Trust flow
  • Substantive assessment (website quality and actuality)
  • Technical assessment
  • Type of links on offer and price

That’s already enough to make an informed decision, but there’s more. Clicking on the domain name opens a side panel with super-granular data about it.

Again, that’s more than any other marketplace offers.

Considering the platform design and the wealth of data it offers, the 3.2 Trustpilot rating seems surprising. The reviews are very polarized — reviewers either love it or hate it.

4. MeUp

MeUp.com is a comprehensive link-building marketplace catering to businesses, agencies, and affiliates.

The platform offers access to over 120,000 pre-vetted, high-authority backlink placements. These are available for SEO DIYers and as part of their fully managed service.

Before we explore the feature, switch to the dark mode. In the light mode, the UI doesn’t have enough contrast to clearly see the available features, like filters.

Here’s the page in light mode. See what I mean?

When you create your project, MeUp automatically suggests link placements your domain just like WhitePress. You can refine the results with filters but you can’t search for a specific keyword, which is a major downside IMO.

As to the filters, they include:

  • Price
  • Language
  • Country
  • Category
  • Content by (Advertiser, Publisher, both)
  • No-follow/Do-follow
  • DR/DA
  • Traffic
  • Keywords ranked for
  • Referring domains

The list isn’t as comprehensive as in WhitePress but enough to vet websites effectively.

The search results page offers insights into:

  • Placement price
  • Language and country
  • DR and DA
  • Traffic, keywords, and referring domains

Another feature that sets MeUP from competitors is the Competitor Link Gap tool.

It works like Competitive Analysis in Ahrefs: you add your competitors, and it provides you with a list of links they have and you don’t. These are just website available on the marketplace, though.

The checkout process isn’t as straightforward as in other marketplaces.

The reason?

You must first top up your account balance. This makes it more complicated than simply paying the exact amount by card, PayPal, or another similar service.

MeUp reviews

MeUP is a fairly new service, which means it has no G2 or Clutch reviews and very few on Trustpilot 3 to be more specific at the moment of writing.

And each of them is from a different kind of client, so it’s difficult to make any generalizations based on them. Bear this in mind when you look at its 4.0/5 score.

To finish, let's answer a few questions about link-building marketplaces that we often hear from our clients.

Why do SEOs use link-building marketplaces?

SEOs use link-building marketplaces to quickly find relevant, high-quality backlink opportunities.

Securing backlinks from these platforms doesn't differ much from shopping on Amazon or AliExpress. You search for the relevant product, place it in the cart, and pay.

No prospecting, no outreach, no negotiations.

Building links this way requires less effort. It can also be cheaper even if you consider the often hefty platform markups.

Is using link-building marketplaces safe?

Using reputable marketplaces is generally safe because they curate their website databases.

However, you still need to vet the websites you get the links from to ensure that placements are relevant and that you get good value for your money.

But bear in mind that buying links is against Google guidelines and, as such, can lead to trouble.

Google can dismiss unnatural and spammy links and issue manual penalties to the worst offenders. So, you can potentially waste money that you could spend building links with white hat tactics. And there's a risk of damaging your current rankings.

How should you choose the right marketplace?

To choose a backlink marketplace, focus on:

  • Backlink quality (high DR/DA, low spam score, high organic traffic)
  • Industry relevance (the more niche your sector, the fewer relevant listings there are)
  • Platform transparency regarding pricing, publishing times, and link validity.
  • Pricing and value
  • Customer reviews and reputation (if you can find any)
  • Ease of use (they're free to register to create an account and play around with the filters and search features)
  • Support quality

Conclusion

Link-building marketplaces allow you to acquire multiple links, often from high-authority websites with decent metrics quickly, which is tempting.

However, this comes with the risk of spending your money on links that offer little SEO value and bring penalties.

If you want to use them, don't count on the platforms to vet the websites for you. Check their metrics, quality, and relevance carefully before you part with your money.

If you want to acquire quality backlinks that will enhance your SEO performance without the risk, using reputable link-building services like Editorial Link is a better choice. Get in touch!
